Welcome to my web site. My story with figs begins in 2007 when I was living in Vancouver, Canada. One of my Italian neighbours in West Vancouver introduced me to this wonderful discovery. Upon my return to Montreal, I kept an interest in figs and since then I have acquired different varieties and expanded my knowledge on the cultivation of figs.

My goal is to share my experience of growing figs in Canada and present my discoveries from my travels around the world. The objective of this site is to show you that growing figs in northern climates such as eastern Canada is possible. In this website, you will find articles and videos relating to advices and information on the history of cultivation of figs from different regions of the world. To this, some of the content of this website relates to my personal travels in parts of Europe, the Middle East and North America.
