Welcome to my web site. I want to share my passion for figs and the figs growing in Canada! My goal is to show you that growing figs in a northern climate such as eastern Canada is possible. In the near future, I hope this web site will become the ultimate guide for growing fig trees in Canada.

My story with figs begins in 2007 when I was living in Vancouver, Canada. One of my Italian neighbours in West Vancouver introduced me to this wonderful fruit. Upon my return to Montreal, I kept an interest in figs and since then I have acquired different varieties and expanded my knowledge on the cultivation of figs.
